Summer time has come and when it’s warm out there it is nothing more important than drinking water. But there are so many ways how you can make your water even more tasty and healthy as well.
Water is the most important for the human body. And you giving your body some vitamins and other healthy nutritions at the same time is even better. Also some water with any taste is amazing. I love it and it’s also a perfect alternative for alcoholic punch and for drinks containing sugar like icetea or lemonade. Just add fruit.
You can use any fruits you like. Berries, citrus fruits, melons or even mint or cucumber. Anything you like. Also frozen fruits are great because they make yor drink a little more refreshing. But don’t use too much ice because it’s better to drink your water not ice cold. Your body will heat up when you drink cold water or other liquids and that means you will sweat even more in the already hot summer times.
You can also put some fruits into a water bottle and leave it in there for a few hours. So the taste and the goodness of the fruits will get into the water. Use the bottle as a take away or for the table when you have friends over. It also looks beautiful. And you can use the same fruits for more glasses of water and not just one. You will taste it when the fruits have no contents anymore to give into the water. But don’t leave the fruits in it for more than 24 hours. At some point the fruit won’t be tasty anymore.
Raspberry + Strawberry + Lemon
This infused water is my all time favorite and looks so pretty in pink. Also the water gets a little red when you leave it like this for a while. But it’s not just pretty. The berries are rich in antioxidants which are good for your body and soul. And the lemon is rich in Vitamin C which is good to protect your body from sickness. And the combination tastes like pure summer.
Cubcumber + Mint
This green combination is great for the hot days in summer. It’s not that sweet of a taste and the natural hydrating cubcumber helps to stay cool as well as the mint does. Also mint fights inflammations in the stomach. The cubcumber and mint infused water is perfect to cool from the inside out. Just slice the cubcumber into thin pieces and let them sit for a while in the water before you drink it. Also clap the mint a little to open up the pores of the leaf to get all the goodness out of it into your water.
Watermelon + Orange
The natural hydrated watermelon tastes amazing and is also rich in fibre which helps too not get hungry very fast. The orange is rich in Vitmin C. Which means this combination will aid digestion and boost immunity.
So go out and enjoy the days of summer and keep yorself hydrated and your partys pretty with some fruit infused water.
